Hundredth Day of School
The students
celebrated the 100th Day of School on Wednesday, January 27. The students recited the 99
Names of Allah, shared their collection
of 100 things, made a 100th day hat, decorated a vest with 100
stickers, decorated a Name of Allah, and helped make 100 flowers.They did 100 exercises, had a scavenger
hunt to find 100 chocolates,
had a talent show, broke a piñata, and released 100 balloons.The students had
a lot of fun. We thank the PreK families for
donating the money for pizza and all the classes for donating
snacks.
Science Fair
Students are
reminded to bring their posters no later than Monday, February 1.The Science Fair will be on
Thursday, February 4. Parents are
welcome to see the students’ work on Friday. We look forward to
seeing the students’ posters and all the hard
work they have done.
Spelling Bee
The School
English Spelling Bee will be on Thursday, February 18. The students
have already received their
lists from their Language Arts teachers.The Spelling Bee will start at 9:30 a.m. Parents are welcome to
attend.Please do your best to study for the Spelling Bee!
PTO Meetings
The PTO is a
very important part of the school. We would like to have meetings
on every Wednesday from
3 to 4 p.m. Once of month, we will also
have PTO meetings in the weekend. The PTO is an invaluable asset
to
help plan events, help our school improve, and communicate
information about our school to the wider
community. We hope to see
you there!
Health Alert
Please
remember to keep your child at home if they have a fever, pink eye,
or have been vomiting.
If they have had a fever, please make sure
they do not have a fever for 24 hours before letting
them return to
school. Thank you!
